Dear Veterans and interested Team Handball players,
USA Deaf Team Handball organization is starting to prepare for next Deaflympics in Australia in 2005. We are going to provide a clinic for women players who want to learn more about how to play team handball as well as improving skills. This clinic will give you the opportunity to be more prepared for several competitions before going to Australia. It will be held at Model Secondary School for the Deaf on Gallaudet University's campus in Washington, DC on the weekend of November 22-24. Men are welcome to join. Please review attached schedule for the clinic.
We have received a grant, $2,250, from USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) for this event. This will be used for facilities' fee, instructors' traveling expenses, equipment and other needs for this event.
You will need to be there for registration before the clinic start at 6:00pm on Friday, November 22 and leave anytime after 1:00pm on Sunday, November 24. You will be responsible for your own traveling expenses including lodging and meals. Also, you will need to register and pay fees before participating in this event. The fees for memberships and event are listed below:
Note: Write a check for $30 to USADTH and explain in memo: fees for USADTH and USADSF
You will not be allowed to participate in this event if you haven't registered. You can register by either sending a check in mail to: Richard Jacobs, USADTH President, 9004 240th Street SW, Edmonds, Washington 98026 or pay at the registration. You can pay the fees if you do not plan to attend the clinic. The fees are good for year 2002.
If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am looking forward to meeting you all on the weekend of November 22-24.
Richard A. Jacobs
President of USADTH
